With not having attended the Durban July horse racing event before and now being invited to work in one the VIP Lounges sponsored by Jameson, one of the key brands for Pernod Ricard, I was extremely honored and excited at the prospect. The day lived up to expectations and completely blew me away as to how popular this event really is and the effort that goes into making it such a spectacular day out at the races.
Below are a few images to showcase some key elements within the day long event until the party really started after night fall. That didn’t stop the races though as there were 4 horse races that took place under lights. We were treated to some DJ’s of great quality on 2 different dance floors. I was there to capture the action!
