This truly will be one of those showcase projects that will hold a special memory for me. Not only for the sensational beauty and scenery of Benguerua Island but the staff and team with whom I worked at Marlin Lodge. Thanks to Peter, Tessa, Judy, Nadia and Caroline for the good times. In amongst all the laughter we got some great imagery.
Situated within the Bazaruto Archipelago of Mozambique on the western shores of Benguerua Island, this private, 4 star lodge of 17 luxury villas raised above the beach just a few metres away from the waters edge offers not only a vacation of relaxation but is complete with activities a plenty – also known for the great diving reefs and deep sea fishing in the region.
When all the excitement of the day is over you’ll be amazingly satisfied by the meals served up from Tessa, the Executive Head Chef and her competent team in the kitchen. Follow Tessa’s blog on her cooking, life and times on the island. The diversity of the variety will keep you coming back for more. Some of those sensational meals pictured below.
Look out for the new and updated website for Marlin Lodge coming soon. Enjoy this selection of images that I trust provides an overview of this idyllic paradise.

Just looking at these images makes me want to pack my bags and head to Marlin Lodge. Most wonderful is The perfect Sports Illustrated shot in crystal clear waters. This image pulls you into the warm sparkling waters. Loved the menu and by the look of the images the venue and the service makes Marlin Lodge a perfect piece of paradise.
Hi Grant, your pics are fantastic. They make me want to jump on the first plane out there.
Thanks Barbara and Lorraine. I’m glad as this is the kind of reaction I’m trusting these images will invoke!
