Last week I had a major mishap with my spectacles and they ended becoming ex-spectacles! I thus had to head off to the optometrist and organise a new pair and while I was at it I decided to have an eye test which I hadn’t done for just under 2 years. My other glasses were desperately in need of replacement too, as the frames were way too loose and the lenses badly scratched … so the timing was perfect.
I’m a great fan of the Oakley brand and have worn their sunglasses in various types for many years now. Each time I buy a different brand I wish I’d actually bought Oakley and then suffer buyer’s remorse! Well I wasn’t going to make this mistake with the inevitable new spectacles and so headed straight for the Oakley rack of frames to see what was available. I tried a few variations and then put these on. Well that ol’ saying that something fits like a glove couldn’t be more true for this pair of great frames from Oakley, Voltage 2.0 | Light Brown. Notice the detail in the frame and the simple styling. I enjoy this line on the Oakley website describing them: “It’s the kind of outspoken originality that trips the circuit breaker of uninspired thinking.” Love these new frames.
