While not quite on the beach, this idyllic home full of the modern splendour yet complete with the simple conveniences of daily living, looks directly onto the breakers of the Indian Ocean from the panoramic patio. A complete dream come true for the home owners who moved back to their roots in Salt Rock after spending too long in the Gauteng rat race, now experiencing coastal living at its finest.
Upon arrival at this beautiful home, designed by Llewellyn Cronje of CA Architects, we were offered amazing coffee which wafted with wondrous scents of coffee ecstasy through the home as we explored the various rooms determining where to begin.
The best place – the kitchen with its Caesarstone prep surfaces, pastel mint green island cupboards and a sensational glass splashback for the cooking area. I also loved the integration of the wine fridge within the kitchen workspace. After all if you’re not cooking with wine then you should be drinking wine while you cook!
Enjoy the imagery below as I show you a glimpse of this magnificent home that made my wife so wonderfully intrigued by all its finishes.
