Durban really is a beautiful city. On this adventure my aim was to to capture area around Moses Mabhida Stadium from various different locations around Durban – from 2km out to sea at 2000ft above the to cruising 50ft over the breakwater towards the shoreline feeling like a scene from a Magnum P.I. episode. This was the first time I’d seen Durban from the southern side of the Bluff, as you would notice below. Not only was the weather great for this flight in a Robinson 22 helicopter but the sea below was so clean and crystal clear to compliment the blue, cloudless sky.
If you need your project to be showcased from a different perspective and or the sheer scale of the location requires aerial photography, then let’s discuss your requirements. I have a precise eye for architectural capture from the ground which greatly adds to my experience of aerial photography. Contact Grant Pitcher on 031 3032029 or 083 3247509.
WOW Bro! Showing me all the reef on the bluff side there! thanks!!
Yip Richard, it was my first time to see this perspective and I made the most of it!
Grant, these photos are phenomenal! It is amazing the difference a new perspective makes. I look at the Bluff from my kitchen window every day and I’ll definitely see it with fresh eyes in future.
Thanks Andrew. It’s good to shed new light on views we may take for granted.
