Right from when the workers moved in and leveled the land to start construction on The Square Boutique Hotel and Spa I have followed the development with keen interest. Then, a few weeks back, I get the notification to showcase the hotel for a nationwide magazine and the date was set to eventually get to see first hand that which I have watched evolve over the past year or so.
I was suitably impressed. The great use of well laid our rooms to maximize potential space and cater for both masculine and feminine taste through the soft finishes making each guest feel at home. I had been informed that interior designers Union3 (friends and business associates) had been heavily involved in this project and results are testament to their wonderful work. I just loved the ambiance created by the changing colours of the lights in the lobby and the restaurant. You’ll notice I captured the restaurant on the cycle of the blue ambiance lighting. There are about 6 other shades to enhance to dining mood as the evening unfolds! I think this will be a signature location of the discerning traveler to the Umhlanga region.
Great photos again Grant. Loved the pool deck ones!
Fantastic, l,ve also watched the building of the hotel evolve and never imagined it would
look so good. Great photography Grant.
Wonderful pictures Grant and your photographjy really shows the magnificence of it all. Congratulations !
Best wishes and I hope this really puts you on the map.
Unbelievable shots Grant – in particular two of them are the best 2 photos of the hotel by far out of the 500 I have seen, keep up the excellent work and blog.
